Rutherfords are pretty good, that's what I have. The shamrock Style lacing is nice if you don't want to bother with the belt. If you tie your laces will enough, there is NO FEAR OF THEM COMING OFF!

Also: Hard shoes will probably cramp your feet (even if they are the perfect size when you get them), I think it's just your feet getting used to having your toes suspended off of the ground....it's NORMAL! Well, ifyou consider me normal, which is debatable.

My Rutherford's didn't stretch when i got them, at least not too much, they're a little roomier but not like five sizes... maybe because I have the light sole bottom and that's stiffer, so it doesn't allow for more stretching. Also be fore-warned, if you get light sole, it will take a while to break the bottom of the shoes in! Only now can I begin to bend them! Other than that, they're pretty good! Although I probably will try corrs second time 'round

I just got the Corrs split-sole ghillies, they're excellent!! (Thanks for recomending them Becca!!) It's so much easier to get up higher on my toes, and I actually look like I'm pointing now!!!!

Give it a while Sticky. I had mine for a year before they were broken in to where they were comfortable. You haven't had yours for very long. So keep at it and they will get better eventually.
